Meggan Ellman
A yogi since childhood, Meggan followed her mothers footsteps into the world of Yoga, emulating her mothers yoga asanas from a very young age. She delved deeper into the practice by studying under world renowned yoga teachers in Santa Monica including Bryan Kest and Shiva Rae. It was through a personal healing crisis that Meggan left her high-profile sales position in Los Angeles and began her quest for complete wellness. She started by attending the Optimum Health Institute in San Diego, where she learned to achieve balance through diet and detoxification. With the return of her health, she studied at the Sivananda Yoga Ashram in the Bahamas to complete her yoga teacher training and immerse herself into the Vedanta Yoga philosophy, blending the practices of Raja (meditation), Jnana (wisdom), Bhakti (devotion) and Karma Yoga (selfless service). Meggan then continued to study Chi Gong, Reiki and Eastern meditation practices by traveling to Bali and studying with Balinese healers, to Thailand where she studied tantra, and to a Buddist Temple in Chang Mai where she was initiated into ancient Thai shamanic healing modalities. She also travelled internationally in service of sharing yoga for inner peace for local villages with Yogis Without Borders. Additionally, through her passion for art and expression, she creates handmade healing crystal jewelry and offers style consultations to help clients express and embody various aspects of the Self. She also hosts private meditation and yoga retreats in her cabin on the Etowah River in Dahlonega, Georgia. It is Meggan’s greatest joy to help people ingrate diet, detox, yoga, meditation, empowerment, and expression to become their most enlivened version of themselves in body, soul, and style.
